Last night I made an exciting dinner of spaghetti and meatballs. The recipe was simple. Open a bag of frozen meatballs, pour in a jar of Ragu and simmer. We eat high on the hog when Hubby is out of town. After dinner I went about cleaning the kitchen while Diva, MA and I watched Steel Magnolias. Peanut was in the playroom watching Backyardigans. At one point I peeked in to see Peanut dancing to the show and watching to see if she was doing the dance right. It was so sweet and made me realize how much she is growing up. She is really getting into pretend play.
I went back to cleaning the kitchen when Peanut came in the room. I asked her close the trash can when I turned to look at her. Really look at her. And there she stood – in her birthday suit! After yelling in shock, I immediately grabbed the camera. (What good blogger wouldn’t?) Not wanting to encourage the disrobing, I quickly took a couple shots then took Peanut back to the playroom so I could get her dressed. That’s when I discovered the fun was not over. Yep, you guessed it. There were little pellets all over the floor!
So much for the quiet evening.
I decided not to post the birthday suit pictures. Here she is after MA got her dressed.

She is so cute! It sounds like she's got a few tricks up her sleeve. :)
SO cute! I love that picture!!! I just want to scoop her up and give her a big kiss. What a sweetie!!!
Peanut looks so cute in her jammies! There must be something in the air. My 4 year old came running down the stairs the other day yelling naked boy, naked boy. After sending him back up to get dressed I checked with Alex and his friend if they had given him the idea or if it was all his. Why do they do stuff like that? and during a playdate no less. I can't wait to hear what the friend told his mom.
Stripper toddlers are the best. Those photos will be priceless when you need to blackmail her some day, especially when you are able to tell the tale of what she did while she was walking around!
Awww... what a cutie! Give her hugs from me.
Hi Jules,
If I must. It's such a chore giving her hugs. :)
I know, I know. Now that you're over the hill, these things seem like exercise. But exercise is good for you. Say it with me now. Exercise...... is........ good......for.......... you.
And while youre putting yourself out, give her a smile or two from me too.
I'm such a wicked task master.
Aww! What a little Peanut:) Love her!
Hey, happy 40th! Beautiful flowers!
Becca's starting to figure out how her clothes come off too. She spent 10 minutes the other morning just pulling her jammie pants down and up. So far the diaper's stayed on though, but I have the feeling I'll be writing a similar post at some point. :)
Peanut is just way too cute in her jammies!
Pellets. HA! Between Burg Baby's "kids" and this, I have a whole new vocabulary for that particular bodily function. LOL!
What a cutie patootie.
