I need to get some Happy Pills
I can't control my temper
I try and try but without warning
I scream and rant and rave
If I don't get some Happy Pills
I'm warning your right now
Don't even think to cross me
Or some one will surly die
I'm mad as hell
It's time like these
I know why the black widow kills her mate
And others eat their young
Tomorrow will be better
I pray that it is true
I'm grateful my husband is patient
And my children so forgiving
I can't control my temper
I try and try but without warning
I scream and rant and rave
If I don't get some Happy Pills
I'm warning your right now
Don't even think to cross me
Or some one will surly die
I'm mad as hell
It's time like these
I know why the black widow kills her mate
And others eat their young
Tomorrow will be better
I pray that it is true
I'm grateful my husband is patient
And my children so forgiving

This is pretty much how my whole Sunday went. Sometimes when you write something in a certain mood it all makes sense, then when you are feeling better you can't relate. It's my attempt at poetry, but I will never be a poet. Guess I'll leave it up anyway.
I am sorry you are having a difficult day ~
Hi Puppies,
Thank you! Like I said above, I wrote this yesterday. I am feeling much better, today. Thank goodness!
Hi Deb,
I'm happy to hear today is going better for you. Isn't it great that you have a blog where you can vent?
Hi Barbara,
Yes it is! It's nice to know there are people out there that will let you, too.
I hear you. I seriously think I have mild depression over winter and yet I managed to power my way through it again. I hope you have a reprieve from yourself. I know what it's like. I hate myself when I'm like that, and yet I can't stop it.
I think my husband needs some happy pills. *sigh*
glad y are feeling better
is there any comfort in knowing we ALL have days like this. you are not alone!! at all.
Great poem Debbie. I know how it feels to have one of those days. Lucky you managed to use your creativity as therapy.
Yuck days have the dangedest way of sneaking up on us, don't they. I'm glad you are feeling better, but I hope that you are doing something FOR YOU.
Taking time to take care of yourself is the one of the best gifts you can give your girls. You are teaching them how to take care of their own grown-up selves in the process. Too often we women pour our all out and never take time to refill.
How about a post on your next refilling activities? I'd love to hear all about it. xoxoxo
