Feedburner, why are you so cruel? You play with my emotions constantly. One moment you are giving me all these warm fuzzies and then you yank the rug right out from under me. Like the other day, you told me I had 15 subscribers when I went to bed and the next morning I had zero! Zilch, nada, nothing. Oh, you have done this to me before, so I knew. I knew it wasn't true, you were just playing with my emotions. Later in the day I checked again and there were 11 friends. Really? I lost 4 readers overnight? Somehow, I don't believe you. I know you are hiding things from me. I look at Statcounter and he tells me I've had more visitors. You are the worst kind of man, leading me on, telling me you love me then making me cry. Well, two can play at this game. I will continue to use you, but I'll no longer believe everything you tell me. I will continue to two time you with Statcounter. He seems a little more trustworthy, but you have that funny little orange square I can put on my blog so I'm keeping you around. I will send my new friends to the square so they can subscribe to me but I will no longer give you my affection. Yes, you have taught me well. In the future I will get my love from my true friends. Friends who believe in me and share the love and give me awards for being me.
Like Stephenie at A is for Aiden who gave me this beautiful award.
Sure, there were a few strings attached, but I can live with them. The rules are:
1. You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also contributes to the blogging community, no matter what language.
2. Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his/her blog to be visited by everyone.
3. Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her/him the award itself.
4. The award winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of Arte y Pico blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award. (Good luck to all you non-Spanish speaking/reading people out there, like me.)
I'm going to pass this award on to:
- Michelle at My Semblance of Sanity for all the work she does 4 the Kids! She has been donating her time and talents to raise money and awareness for cancer, especially in children.
- Deb at Mom of 3 Girls. Besides the fact I feel a special closeness to any other mom raising their own three little weddings, she is always having contests, give aways and just recently started a new blog for mommy reviews.
- Jules at Just Because. She shares so many photography tips for all us wannabes that don't have the time to study all those books.
- Motherhood for Dummies for all the great little tips and parenting ideas she has on her blog, and finally,
- Saralynn at Love, Life and Marriage. I just can't seem to put into words what I like about Saralynn, I just do. She's so positive and upbeat and I enjoy reading what she has to say.

Unlike you, Feedburner, I can share the love, too. I'm sharing this love with:
Burgh Baby because she makes me laugh and I always know I can count on her for a pick-me-up, especially after you have slammed me down, Feedburner.
Finally, Feedburner, Shannon at Gabi's World likes me enough to give me this award:

I am just feeling all warm and fuzzy inside despite your vicious attacks. I will not be brought down, and to prove it, I want to pass this award on to:
Oh, and one more thing, Feedburner, I've signed up on Twitter and have been talking to my friends and making new friends there. I have so many places to go for love these days I won't need to visit you so often. I'll just drop by once or twice a day to see what you have to say, but otherwise, I'm just too busy for you. Right now I'm off to share my love with the most important people in my life; my own three little weddings.

THAT was hilarious!!!!!
Watching those things can sometimes make you crazy. It's fun to look at, but I try not to watch them too much. I use it alot to find out who else links to me. Have you ever gone to wholinkstome.com ? That's fun to look at, too! Without these little tools, my DH would have stopped blogging long ago. He just doesn't get any commentors (Imagine how that feels.) So at least he can look at Statcounter and see that people do come. Have you ever noticed that Statcounter records the visit times as 0:00 on most visits though? I had to explain to Ryan that these things aren't perfect. I get so many of those times on my own blog, and I know some of them have left comments and it takes longer than 1 second to even find the comment button. Okay, obviously these things have drove us crazy too! Can we board the crazy train with you???
COngrats on the awards too! You certainly deserve them. I am hoping you make a post about your picky eater because I am looking to steal some of your ideas!!
Love it! Glad to know I'm not the only one in a co-dependent relationship. :)
Well that was a sweet surprise. I just came over to see what was up and poof! Sending you smooches. Thanks for the award. Sort of like collecting stamps... pretty bling.... and a girl's gotta have a little bling.
Congrats on the awards. You rock!
LMAO! Way to funny, thanks for the morning laugh.
Congratulations on all of your awards. And to think I can say I knew you when!
I just started "going out" with feedburner. Thanks for letting me know how he is. I may have to start doing the twitter thing. I have heard so much about it.
Feedburner is a jerk. You really can't let him lead you on like that.
Thanks for passing on the love! And congrats to you for getting the well-deserved love.
Just leave that old feedburner in the dust and move on to bigger and better things. Congrats on all your awards. You so deserve it. And most important of all, much thanks for the award. It toatlly brightened my day.
It's not just feedburner. Blogger is all wonky today and I've about had it up to here with it. I'm seriously thinking of committing a bloggy affair.
i have a few awards i need to pass on too...i am totally behind. you are FAST!
Deb at Mom of 3 Girls helped me get it all set up and I haven't been back because I am so confused.
thanks for the award. I will pass it one this weekend (now that St. Louis Mania is complete).
Hi Deb,
Feedburner is fickle, but so are the other statistical programs. I'm currently testing five of them, and get totally different numbers on each one. It's pretty hard to determine what your actual numbers are.
Congrats on all of your awards. You're awesome!!!!!
Thank you, Debbie! I am really honored, what a sweet thing to do. And thank you for the link to the new site as well. :)
I love your letter to Feedburner - it drives me nuts as well, but I've learned to live with the ups and downs. It helps to remember that it's not actually tracking the number of people who are subscribed, but the number of people who've accessed your feed. So if you miss a day of posting or people are busy and don't have time to read, your numbers can go down. Mine always dip on the weekends when people aren't reading blogs as much.
Maybe someday they'll come up with a way to actually let us know the 'right' number! :)
aw-thanks for the award.
Hi Puppies,
Thanks. I'm glad I could give you a chuckle.
Hi Barbara,
Yes, I'm learning very quickly not rely to seriously on all these stats. The auditor in me is not very pleased with the inaccuracies!
