This weekend we went to the lake with my sister. She and her husband have a nice cabin and invited us down for a weekend of boating, swimming, fishing and fireworks. We had a great time.
Michelangelo went tubing and although she rubbed the skin on her elbows completely off and was sore all over, she was ready to go again the next day. She also tried her hand at knee boarding and got up on the first try and stayed up for quite a while.
Diva loved tubing and kept wanting to go faster. She was all grins the entire time and with her goggles on looked like an old time race car driver.
Even Peanut tried tubing with her dad although she was not a fan and preferred swimming instead.
The lake at Table Rock is so beautiful and clear. Hubby and I checked out a few for sale signs and I have it all worked out. We aren't very good with boats so we'll get a little house and a pontoon. They're easier to drive and we saw many kids tubing behind them. With a fishing troll on the front hubby can take the girls out fishing in the mornings. In the afternoons we can anchor up in a cove and go swimming. Boat over to visit my sister and her husband when they are down. Invite friends down for the weekend.
**Sigh** It's nice to dream.
P.S. I bet you'd like to see pictures in this post. Yeah, so would I. I kept forgetting to take my camera with me. It stayed in the car most of the weekend. I did remember to get it out when the girls were dock fishing, but left it at the house when we went back on the boat yesterday afternoon. Oh well.

Sounds fun. My parents have a cabin on Table Rock. I spent lots of time at the lake as a kid.
