When Michelangelo was three she, once went through an entire box of band-aids when she was supposed to be sleeping. She snuck into the bathroom, grabbed the box and proceeded to band-aid herself and bed.
Diva is never one to pass up the opportunity to get a band-aid and at the slightest scrape or bump will request an immediate band-aid to make it all better.
Peanut, however, HATES band-aids. She screams at the very sight of them. Peanut is also at the age where she falls outside, a lot. Scraped knees never really get a chance to heal before she's opening the wound again. Sometimes a mommy kiss just isn't going to cut it and I have to wash the wound and put a band-aid on. I no sooner look at her knee than she starts screaming. It usually takes at least two of us to get the scrape taken care of. Once the band-aid is on she will eventually calm down. Unfortunately, taking it off can cause a similar reaction, if not quicker and easier to deal with.
With shorts weather here to stay, I have taken to a little preventative medicine to protect Peanut's little knees. One well placed band-aid without all the cleaning and medicine, although still a fight is easier than the alternative.
The other day when Peanut wanted to go out and run on the sidewalk, I decided to put on a band-aid. She was not happy about this decision. I thought maybe she'd realize band-aids weren't so bad if her sisters had one, too.
It didn't work.
Diva wasn't happy about being pulled away from her bug collecting for a little photo shoot.

Those are cute band-aids.
It was worth a try :). Bitty doesn't like band-aids either.
Band Aids are bad news in our house. They always fuse to Tori's skin. Do you know how hard it is to make a nurse understand that when she is finished with the shots she can NOT adhere the usual band aid? No matter how I explained the situation we ended up with a band aid nightmare every time. We finally cured the school nurse when Tori passed out after the nurse insisted on a bandaid. Signs were posted in the office and all of Tori's classrooms stating NO BANDAIDS FOR TORI.
I'm surprised that she's even sitting there smiling for the photo op. Micah screams until they're gone.
Gabi is like peanut! We have to fight her to place them and then fight her again to take them off! It's awful!
My little guy would hate that, too. The other three really should own stock in Band-Aid. They would bandage up a pin prick or a mosquito bite.
Good try!
Max hates them. Sam loves them!
