Melissa tagged me last week to participate in the Things That Make Me Happy meme. She challenged herself by not listing the obvious, husband, kids, family, answers, so I’ll try to do the same. (After I go make Peanut brush her teeth. Grrrr)
Ok, I’m back. Here are are my 10, in no particular order.
- Ice cream – mmm.
- Early spring smells/sounds like the first grass cutting of the season, lilacs, birds chirping, leaves rustling, kids playing.
- The Mentalist – I’m mental, you know.
- The color green – most shades
- Creating or problem solving – Give me a challenge and I like to figure out how to make it better. I tried to open an Etsy store once on all my “Mommy Solutions” for baby items but I just couldn’t find the time to keep up with it. That makes me sad, but maybe one day I can try again.
- School days – I love my kids, but having a few hours to myself while they are happily (or not so happily) in school filling their little brains with knowledge makes me happy.
- A good pedicure/manicure (acrylic nails) – unfortunately I haven’t had either in a very long time. :-(
- Coffee
- Writing
- God and my faith
