March Madness is afoot in our house too. I'm lucky that I'm currently tied with my husband, but I'm sure I'll lose in a horrible way by the end of it. Oh well. It's fun to gloat for one day.

One year my brother ordered March Madness on Direct TV and then called me. So we could talk about all the games he was watching. For a half an hour or more.

He told me which game was on and that in the corner of his screen he could see another game going on and then if he flipped to another channel he could see two more games and then...

Well, since we elected to get rid of extended basic cable (and hence the end of ESPN), my hubby's March Madness days are short changed. But I know exactly how you feel because when we did have ESPN, he was literally growing roots in front of the TV this time of year.

I'm a big Royals fan (okay, little fan, since there's not much to cheer about!) and Jayhawk basketball fan. I take a bit of a different take on all this madness!

I always wondered why KC didn't have a basketball team; I hadn't realized there used to be one. It's just such a big b-ball place, but I guess college rules! (Though your husband is on the wrong side of the fence!)

Oh no I don't envy you. I don't do sports. EVER and never did. I do watch the superbowl but only reason is because I like the pre-game show and inviting everyone over and eat food and drink Beer ;)

Debbie I agree. In many ways Tristan has been far easier. As a new born he slept well, nursed well and was always content. My Chanelle was a screamer for years and now that she speaks she complains constantly it can be very draining. Tristan has attitude but is way more pleasant and easier to get along with than any other toddler I have ever met! I think he is the least likely to stay out all night or get into trouble with the law as well ;) Mind you my older son Justin went to a party and there was a guy with DS sitting there getting drunk with the rest of them so my dream of this has faded somewhat. lol

I saw the funniest news bit the other day about March Madness. Apparently, some surgeon decided to woo clients to get vasectomies by offering a special deal for March Madness...Get the surgery just before and go home with a full sports package to sit on the couch and watch the games while recouperating. I thought it was pretty clever actually.
